UEFA held a meeting with representatives of the European Super League.


In a meeting with A22 Sports (the Super League development company), UEFA`s senior leadership, together with the leaders of the national leagues, clubs and fan organizations, once again spoke out against the Super League and similar projects.


UEFA`s top leadership, led by President Aleksander Ceferin, and senior figures from the domestic leagues, clubs, players and fans have all stressed that opposition to the self-proclaimed Super League remains overwhelming, as it has been since April 2021.


The participants of the meeting were surprised to note the statements of the CEO of A22 Sports that this company does not represent any clubs in any capacity, including three clubs predictions by live football video (Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus - approx. ), which continue to openly support the project.


UEFA and partners remain committed to the principles of European football based on openness, solidarity and meritocracy, and to place sporting principles and the public interest above privilege and personal gain.
