Bayern Munich switches Lufthansa to Qatar Airways

German Bayern (Munich) announced that they have signed a 5-year sponsorship contract with Qatar Airways. For the last 16 years, the Bavarian sponsor was Lufthansa. The Bayern-Qatar Airways contract enters into force in the 2018/2019 season and is worth more than 10 million euros.



Munich is Germany`s almost sure champion this season, having 19 points ahead of the second in Borussia (Dortmund), and this evening accepts Besiktas in the first round of the Champions League`s eighth-finals match.
